Hit the Ground Running and Other Ways to Push for a Healthier Life

Due to the fact that I always set the bar high for myself and I do not want to sit idly by and waste the opportunities that come my way to change my life for the better as well as pave the way towards a better future, I dedicate every ounce of my energy to my chosen career so that I can rake in some serious dough and add more digits to my savings account. But more often than not, after a long and tough day in the workplace as I finish my professional tasks and brainstorm with my colleagues so that we can finish our projects as soon as possible to earn the praise and respect of the top brass, I am often exhausted and in dire need of some rest and relaxation. And that is the reason why I just do not have the time to work out and get the exercise that I need therefore it was not a surprise that I gained a lot of weight and was in danger of suffering from different kinds of debilitating diseases and alarming afflictions that can adversely affect the quality of my life.

With that said, I vowed to switch to a healthier lifestyle because I want to enjoy my golden years with my friends and family when I finally hang up the gloves and retire so that I can create treasured memories that I will cherish for the rest of my days instead of lying in a hospital bed because I am too weak, fragile and feeble. Aside from eating a balanced diet comprised of fresh fruits, organic vegetables and whole wheat grains as well as getting enough hours of sleep to replenish my strength and energy levels, I also bought arch support insoles from Singapore for my cross trainers and running shoes so that I can jog around the neighbourhood every day. This will certainly improve my cardiovascular endurance, strengthen my calves as well as help me soak up some vitamin D from the warm sunshine every morning and afternoon which will undoubtedly make my skin more radiant than ever.

Aside from lifting weights and pumping iron to tone my muscles, strengthen my body, improve my centre of balance and melt the fat away, I also enrolled in mixed martial arts classes so that I can learn different fighting techniques from various disciplines like Greco-Roman wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai as well as the sweet science of boxing and judo.

And to get my whole family involved in my new fitness regimen because I also want them to enjoy a long and healthy life instead of being lethargic and under the weather all the time due to their lack of exercise, we also play different kinds of sports every weekend like soccer, basketball, squash and tennis. Last but not the least, instead of riding in my car all the time that consumes too much fuel which is harmful to our environment, I decided to buy a bike because this will help me save a lot of money and at the same time lessen my carbon footprint significantly.
